Many people have only recently heard about the effort to organise a UK Babywearing Conference and have missed some of the history to what has been happening. Others have been aware of the idea for longer but perhaps have missed some of the discussion and need clarification of where things stand. This document aims to give the history of the idea of this event and what's been happening to date... |

The suggestion has been made to have a 'babywearing day' (one of those synchronicitous things, I headed for a forum to post the suggestion to find it had already been made...) I think it would have wider appeal if it's called 'Carry Your Baby Day' (or week?!) AND I thought maybe we could do a day much sooner than later, though it won't get in the baby magazines if it's too soon... I propose either 21st October or sometime in March? 24th looks fairly not-clashing-with-anything-ish... Come and post on the forums and let us know what you think :) |

A survey has been created for folk to complete to get some ideas about what poeople want from a conference, where they would travel to attend, how many folk would be willing to help make this happen.
